G. Alan Dodson (Attorney At Law)

Alan Dodson:

Alan Dodson is an AV-Rated (the highest possible preeminent peer review rating by
Martindale-Hubbell, a recognition of his legal ability and ethics) trust, estate, and closely-
held business attorney whose Griffin-based practice serves clients from across the
metropolitan Atlanta area.


Mr. Dodson received his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Georgia
in 1992, graduating Cum Laude and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He
received his Juris Doctor degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer
University in 1999, graduating Cum Laude and a member of its Law Review.


Mr. Dodson currently resides in Peachtree City, Georgia with his wife, Lany, and his
youngest child Monti Grace. His older children Nikki and Nathan graduated from UGA
and Mercer respectively. He is a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Senoia,
Georgia. And in his free time, he enjoys reading history and CrossFit workouts.


Sallianne Hardwick (Attorney at Law):

Born and raised in Griffin, Georgia, Sallianne graduated magna cum laude from Samford
University in 2008 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in
Psychology. While at Samford she served as editor-in-chief of two on-campus magazines,
Exodus and Sojourn. Sallianne was also a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership
Society, the Kappa Tau Alpha Collegiate Journalism Society, the Alpha Lambda Delta
Collegiate Honor Society, and Phi Mu Sorority at Samford.

Sallianne received her law degree in 2012 from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. At Mercer she was the recipient of the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Advanced Legal Writing and was a member of the Tax Law Society, the Association of Women Law Students and the Christian Legal Society. During law school, Sallianne interned with the Honorable W. Fletcher Sams, Judge of Superior Court, Griffin Judicial Circuit, DeWitt
Simonton, Judge of Spalding County Probate Court, and Rita Cavanaugh, Judge of Spalding County Magistrate Court. After law school, Sallianne began her practice of law at Johnston & Owen, LLC (formerly Johnston, Owen & Bullard, LLP) in Griffin, Georgia, gaining valuable
experience in domestic relations, business, probate, real estate, and other general civil practice areas.

Sallianne joined the Law Office of G. Alan Dodson, LLC in February 2019. She had previously
worked with Alan as a Legal Assistant before attending law school. Sallianne currently lives in
Griffin with her husband, Curtis, and son, Rawls. She is a member of the First Baptist Church
of Griffin, where she serves as Assistant Clerk as well as on several committees. Sallianne also
volunteers with and serves on the Board of Directors for LifeSong Ministries in Griffin.
Sallianne enjoys reading, camping, watching TV/movies, and spending time with her family and friends.


Ashley Cartin (Paralegal):

Ashley is a dedicated estate & trust planning & administration paralegal with a
passion for facilitating seamless transitions of wealth and assets. With six years of
experience in the legal profession, she specializes in navigating the intricate
landscape of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

Ashley assists Mr. Dodson in the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other essential estate planning documents, ensuring clients’ wishes are accurately represented and legally sound. She is skilled in guiding clients through the probate process, from initiating proceedings to closing the estate, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. She assists Mr. Dodson in administering trusts, including asset management, distribution, and compliance with fiduciary duties, to safeguard beneficiaries’ interests.

Ashley is adept at establishing trust and rapport with clients, providing compassionate support during sensitive times, and offering clear explanations of legal processes and options. Ashley collaborates effectively with Mr. Dodson and other professionals involved in estate and trusts matters to ensure coordinated and efficient client service. She communicates with beneficiaries,
financial institutions, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely administration of estates and trusts and addresses any concerns. Ashley has been with the firm since 2022. After graduating from Southern Crescent Technical College with an associate degree in Paralegal Studies, she worked as a paralegal for Robert M. Goldberg & Associates before joining our firm. She is committed to
providing personalized attention and comprehensive solutions to every client while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in all interactions. Ashley resides in Pike County with her husband, Darrell, and her four boys. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and fitness.
